A New Town Hall and Cultural Centre for Titiribí Part 2 Dissertation 2020 Pedro Ortíz Muñoz Pontifical Bolivarian University | Colombia Titiribí is a municipality located in Antioquia, Colombia, which has been characterized throughout history not only for its mining wealth, but also for its cultural potential. However, people have been losing customs and traditions due to population limited appropriation of previously symbolic spaces, now obsolete or underused.For this reason, the new city hall headquarters and cultural center is proposed as a project that reproduces Titiribí culture through a main building and ephemeral spaces that allude to the traditional characteristics of the place, based on three main premises:- Recovery of heritage traditions such as theatrical and dance practices that distinguish the people.- Mayor's office must be a building that, apart from showing power and power, can reflect the culture of the people.- The patio as a traditional space that is present in the Titiribí culture, capable of compose various systems in the project.
