Archaeological Museum, Troglodythic Study Center

A key word of the project is "coexistence", the simultaneity of distinct temporal layers. On this historical background of sedimentation and subsidence of temporal sequences, the project is adding another one: the today, the foreign layer.

The purpose is to produce an act of architecture in order to extend the underground dimension of the site. Following dynamics of simple gestures, the architecture is grafting into the relief, and produces an inlay, a delicate scratch on the limit-surface. Entering a soft fluctuation process, the museum mixes with the topography and ends by becoming topography.

In the year 100000 B.C. a reef pull out a lake from the Sarmatian Sea. The lake becomes river. The river breaks the reef, and makes valleys. An act of architecture. The museum seats on “topological instance”, a inflexion curve in the landscape
The cultural dimension of the site. A series of Metamorphosis. A series of reductions, of kneadings of the primal leaven, an order of sublimations. The place is highly punched-300 antropical caverns forms an impressive troglodytic complex aligned to cany
The operational concepts: -to uncover the limit-surface -to discover the main lines-of-force that embodies into the site -to align the dispersion-paths -to connect the built-up to a cosmically form of logic

The site plan- the museum bends, inserts itself into the mountain, generating an in-side space. A place to meet the Other, or an invasion an excess of Others.

Troglodytic exhibition level The in-side sequence of the museum ends here, but a pedestrian path way prolonges the visit on the mountain. The museum starts to dissolute itself in the landscape
