Behind the Seen, Saida, Majdelyoun Part 2 Project 2018 Aisha Hammoud Beirut Arab University - Debbieh campus | Lebanon 'Behind The Seen' is an art centre that integrates the needs of the visually impaired and gives them a platform to express themselves. The Centre is composed of educational spaces, public spaces (sensory galleries) and social space. By taking a multisensory approach the art centre, in addition of correcting society’s misunderstanding toward those with visual disabilities, aims to give them independence, confidence, arts skills and eliminating the sense of deference.
