After the Fall

Part 1 Project 2025

The project responds to humanity's timeless obsession with perfection - viewed through a dystopian, post-apocalyptic lens. In this imagined future, human consciousness is expanded through chip implantation and data integration, but at the cost of emotional depth. A soulless techno-elite emerges, defined by intellect, control, and detachment.

The architecture begins after a revolution: ordinary people rise against the robotic rulers and reclaim the ruins of their former headquarters.

The first phase is primal - communal living in repurposed containers with shared kitchens and minimal private space. This is the FAVELA: survival through togetherness.

As society reorganizes, the middle class emerges, bringing standard urban housing with humane living conditions. Over time, the hierarchy reforms - the elite return, isolated in a towering glass skyscraper, absurdly oversized and emotionally empty.

The spatial composition reflects a recurring cycle of class division, power, and alienation. It critiques how easily human nature slips back into structures of inequality, even after collapse. The project raises questions: How much space do we need to live meaningfully? And when does excess erase that meaning?

Architecture here becomes a vehicle of storytelling - a dystopian allegory shaped by space, memory, and desire.
