Copiapó Brine Network: La Cinta Verde Part 2 Project 2016 Gabriela MillRyan Canning University of Strathclyde | UK The Copiapó Brine Network investigates the issue of fresh water scarcity in the fertile valley of Copiapó in the Atacama Desert, Chile. Through a network of sustainable hydrological interventions, the proposal explores the desalination of seawater and the processing of the resultant brine into useful products, extending the existing food production in the valley.
