Nodes in Gangnam: Home for moving people Part 2 Project 2025 Ji Su Lee Korea National University of Arts | South Korea Nodes are important because they are in-between spaces that change roles based on people’s needs and times of use. Along the journey of moving people, nodes become places for exploration and exchange, where people of different backgrounds can gather, interact, and share stories. The project aims to create city nodes that create exchanges between various people moving around.Gangnam is a city without natives. It is a city of mobility that many people go through before they completely settle down. Gangnam raises the question of how to restore the concept of neighbors and provide infrastructure for a meaningful life. This project proposes residential spaces for people in transition or seeking a new settlement in a city like Gangnam. Tutor(s)
