Fishing. At the end of the line. Part 1 Project 2016 George Bradford-Smith Northumbria University Newcastle | UK Fishing: At the end of the Line - a place where memories of heroic lost men caught in the rage of the North Sea can be visited, remembered and identified. To celebrate the heritage of Northumberland fishing, the ensemble of buildings encourages visitors’ participation in the process of ‘catching, cooking and eating’. Inspired by an empty harbour of ships that never returned, thus perpetuates the collective identity of Northumberland’s coast. Tutor(s)Mr Peter Holgate
