The Factory of Fake Autonomy: Reassembling the Social Landscape of Labor Part 2 Project 2018 Margaux Wheelock-Shew Cooper Union, | USA This thesis investigates how buildings evolve according to their program, looking into the factory building. The factory has always created a quasi private-public space and as a socio-civic domain for those it employs. The thesis inquires how the structure of the factory building has changed relative to technological innovations and globalization, and questions how this structure can react in a post-industrial age to act as a space of social re-integration.
